Get involved with rail romance at Pendle stations this Valentine’s Day

editorial image

CUPID is ready to spread the love at Pendle railway stations this Valentine’s Day.

Passengers of Northern Rail are being encouraged to tweet @Northern_Cupid romantic messages that will appear on Customer Information Screens on Thursday morning.

To take part in the rail romance, Twitter users need to include the station they would like their message to appear as a #hashtag - for example #nelson.

Special requests are being taken to read out the declarations of love on-board particular services.

Messages can be sent up until 11-59pm on Monday and inappropriate and abusive messages will not be tolerated. Marriage proposals are also being accepted. To arrange e-mail Lionel Richie at hello@northernrail.org.

Are you from Pendle and planning to get in touch with @Northern_Cupid? If so, get in touch with Rebecca Cohen by e-mailing rebecca.cohen@jpress.co.uk, or ringing 01282 612561.
