TWO young football coaches have given up their time to take on the training of Barnoldswick Barons’ Under 16s team after the last coach had to unexpectedly step down.
West Craven Youth Action Group approached Jake Palmer (19) and Kieran Robinson (23) after the New Year.
The pair, both former West Craven High Technology College students, were only too pleased to take on the job.
Now the duo are hoping to inspire greatness in the young team and make them winners.
Jackie Taylforth from the West Craven Youth Action Group said: “They have upped the training regime and have every confidence in their players.
“A big thank you goes out to these lads.”
The team trains every Thursday at Rolls-Royce AstroTurf from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
