Rain, hail and even a few spots of snow could not dampen the enthusiasm of the large crowds who gathered to welcome HRH The Prince of Wales to Clitheroe.

More than 1,000 eager onlookers were out in force for Prince Charles’ long-awaited visit to the Ribble Valley, which saw him visiting various shops in Clitheroe, including Byrne’s Wine Shop and Cowman’s Butchers, before stopping to speak with various participants of the famous Clitheroe Food Festival.
