Volunteers give Barrowford Park a spring clean

A 10-strong army of volunteers got to work on the marsh area of Barrowford Park on Saturday to give it a spruce up for spring and summer.

Branches and twigs were cleared and leaves swept up in a good two hours of work to make the park a tidier spot.

The events are monthly and this one was organised by Pendle Council’s Parks Department in conjunction with Barrowford in Bloom.
