Have your say

Have you heard of Pennine Lancashire Community Farm and would you like to be involved in this Burnley and Pendle based project and help us with a questionnaire?

We are currently involved in a research project, gathering opinions about how the community feels about their outdoor spaces and the type of activities they can be involved in there.

PLFC is a Burnley charity which is using outdoor space to bring people together. We are open to all cultures, background and ages. We have opportunities for community groups to be involved in our schools’ programmes and corporate action days.

We run specific programmes for individuals such as local ladies and the University of the Third age.

We offer garden services, a social enterprise project giving young people, including those with learning difficulties, an opportunity to earn an income and gain experience and qualifications.

The Step programme is designed to help people grow and achieve their goals. Clients involved have been isolated from the community or have been inactive long term, due to a variety of reasons.

The Chilli Club programme gives local family units and individuals opportunity to grow their own food in manageable plots.

Come and visit us at March Street, Burnley. Find out more by visiting us at www.penninelancashirecommunityfarm.org and www.facebook.com/burnley.far

Please help us by taking part in our research questionnaire.
