COLNE blew the chance to cement fourth spot when they were held to a goal-less draw by Atherton Collieries on Wednesday night.
The visitors gave an impresive performance to deny the Reds two precious points in the Vodkat First Division.

And with Squires Gate, Maine Road and Glossop North End all securing midweek victories, their hopes of a potential UniBond spot are slipping away.

However, I understand that only the top two will be progressing from the Vodkat League for next season.

Colne will hope to end their season on a high on Saturday when they travel to Congleton Town (kick-off 3 p.m.), while Nelson host their final home game of the campaign against Formby (kick-off 3 p.m.).
