ROB Lawless picked up a brace of awards at Pendle Phoenix's annual presentation night.
He grabbed both the Academy Player of the Season prize, and the honour of scoring most tries.

And he was handed his achievements at The Muni in Colne, where over £1,500 was also raised for club funds.

Ben Peverley took the Players' Player of the Season gong, with Dave King taking the Coaches' Player of the Season.

James Redford picked up the award for most points throughout the season, while Geraint Williams was presented with the Phoenix Trophy.

Shay McCullough picked up two awards in the Under 16s, taking both the Players' Player and Coaches' Player of the Season accolades.

Kyle Snowden and Jordan Birtwistle took the respective awards in the Under 14s, Brandon Dean and Reece Shepherd in the Under 12s, and Nathan McCollom and Megan Broadbent in the Under 11s.

Craig Wiseman, Zach Child, Liam Hunt and Josh Moore took the respective Most Improved Player prizes.

And the three Most Committed Player awards, in the Under 16s, Under 14s and Under 12s age groups, went to Terry Hardy, James Hardy, and Craig Hardy and Jake Stead respectively.

Commenting on the successful showpiece, club chairman Jim Peverley said: "It was great to see so many people, from juniors right through to the Academy team.

"The club has gone from strength to strength this year and thanks must go to everyone connected with the club who have helped to make it so successful.

"The club cannot function without volunteers, and the support from our sponsors, the main club sponsors Silentnight Beds and Centurion, have provided kit and waterproof jackets for the whole club this year, and their continued support is much appreciated by everyone at Pendle RUFC."
