Search to find Burnley's sporting dad
IS you father Burnley's unsung sporting hero?
Is he dedicated to sport, dedicated about a local team, or give up his free time to help others in the sporting world?
If the answer is yes, then Prostar want to hear from you.
Prostar, one of the leading providers of training and sportswear garments in the UK, has launched a search to reward Burnley's ultimate dedicated dad.
Courtesy of them, your dad could be treated to a VIP trip for two to a major sporting event, as well as bagging yourself £1,000 worth of Prostar training kit for your club.
From being the grounsman at your sports club to the kit washer, the physio to the general volunteer, no matter what sport it is and whatever the tale of dedication, Prostar want to hear from you.
Launching the campaign, Burnley born St Helens rugby league star and Prostar ambassador Paul Sculthorpe said: "When I started playing rugby league at the age of eight for Royton Tigers in the Greater Manchester League, the dedication of everyone involved, including my dad helped me enormously.
"The devotion and passion of people involved in grassroots sports is crucial to the success of developing the sporting talent of the future.
"I'm sure there are some fantastic stories out there of dads and their dedication to sport."
The Prostar panel will judge the merits of every entry to decide the ultimate individual dedication to sport.
To stand a chance of winning and being crowned Prostar's grassroots champion, in no more than 250 words, tell us why your Dad should be the crowned the winner.
To enter, log onto www.prostar.co.uk/grassrootschampion, send an email to prostar@ptarmiganpr.co.uk, or post your entry to Prostar Grassroots Champion, 423 Kirkstall Road, Leeds, LS4 2EZ.
