Both Earby and Barnoldswick again slipped to defeat in the Ribblesdale League on Saturday.
Barlick lost by five wickets against Baxenden in a rain-affected game, having posted 129-5.
Abdul Saddique was again in good touch as he top-scored with 59 for Luke Hodgson’s side.
But in reply, Kurt Smithson hit 53 and Matthew Schofield 48 as Baxenden won in the 26th over.
Barlick are at home to Brinscall tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Earby were beaten by Section B promotion chasers Salesbury by six wickets at Ribchester Road.
The Red Caps dismissed the Applegarth side for just 122 in 30.4 overs, as Andrew Mercer took 6-41 to move to 53 league wickets for the season, and 59 in total.
Sam Bristol chipped in with 2-31, with the only real resistance coming from Luke Hipgrave (38) and Lee Parkinson (22).
Steve Brown’s men knocked off the runs with a minimum of fuss, inside 25 overs for the loss of four wickets.
Professional Susantha Pradeep was the backbone of the reply with 48 off 58 balls, while Mercer finished unbeaten on 17.
Earby are now 31 points adrift of safety in Section A, facing an immediate return. They are at Baxenden tomorrow.
