Turf Moor is to stage a special celebrity game to mark the 100th anniversary of Burnley Football Club winning the FA Cup in 1914.

The Clarets are set to commemorate their only ever FA Cup victory, against Liverpool, by wearing a replica shirt in the final home game, of the Championship season against Ipswich.

In addition, a major exhibition runs at Towneley Hall throughout April, featuring priceless memorabilia of the special occasion and which is FREE to all season ticket holders and Burnley residents.

And now the club, in association with Soccer Six, are bringing ‘The Game of History’ to the Turf.

The Game of History will incorporate Burnley celebrities and Soccer Six Celebrities (many of who support Liverpool) and will take place on May 4, 2014 (2pm KO).

Tickets for this game can now be purchased in advance from the Club shop at £10 adult or under 12s at £8. Tickets are also available online.
