Burnley manager Sean Dyche has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet Championship manager of the month for August.
The Clarets boss is one of four nominees up for the inaugural award form the new Football League sponsors.
Dyche has masterminded a terrific start to the season that has seen the Clarets, currently sitting third in the league, earn three wins and a draw from five games and register three clean sheets.
Burnley also registered a shut-out in the Capital One Cup first round victory over Preston North End at Turf Moor to make it a successful opening month of the season.
Dyche is nominated for the award alongside Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe, Paul Ince of Blackpool and QPR boss Harry Redknapp.
The winner - judged by a panel comprising of former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley; Sky Sports Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins - will be announced on Friday September 6.
