A brace by Alfie Percival, and a well-taken strike by man-of-the-match Lewis Jones, secured a 3-2 derby win for Pendle Forest Under-11 Tornadoes against Barrrowford Celtic.

This ELA Blue League match was a very entertaining game of football - a credit to both junior sides.

Forest’s Under 11s beat Barnoldswick Town 8-2 to progress to the semi-final of the North Valley and Burnley Unity Youth League Cup.

Cain MacDonald hit a hat-trick for Forest.

Barrowford Celtic Under-13 Orange won an incredible game with Readstone United 7-5.

Despite a last minute replacement for an injured player and a no show, Celtic turned in a remarkable performance to take them through to the semi-finals of the league cup.

Four goals from Archie Macdonald Johnston, two from Josh O’Callaghan and a solitary strike from Alex Muldoon gave Celtic the edge in a 12-goal thriller.
