Three goals in a 10-minute period after the break was enough to give the visitors all three points, and maintain their title tilt.

The opening stages saw both teams create chances, Neal going close for the hosts, while the visitors tested Old Boys keeper Oates with a fierce drive from the edge of the penalty area.

Pendle Forest started to take control of the game but were unable to break down the home defence.

In the second half the game swung from end to end, however, two goals from the visitors’ striker in the space of five minutes gave them the advantage.

The Old Boys fought hard to get back into the game, but with minutes remaining, the visitors scored again to seal a decisive victory.

Final Score: BGSOB 0, Pendle Forest 3
