Hot-shot Max seals win with 28th goal of season

A great all-round team performance gave Celtic all three points against second place Skipton Town Reserves.

They went ahead through Joe Anderson, and a bullet header from George Watson at a corner secured a 2-0 half-time lead.

Celtic continued to dominate and Max Foxcroft took his tally to 28 for the season.

Late on Town scored a consolation from the penalty spot but Celtic ran out deserved winners.

Skipper Adam Stansfield was man of the match.

Tomorrow, Celtic’s first team travel to Skipton to face champions L.M.S. at Sandylands, kick-off 2 p.m.

The reserves travel to play Ilkley, at Ilkley Grammar School, again at 2 p.m.

Celtic Under 15s secured their place at the top of the League by maintaining their 100% record with a 6-1 win over Thackley Lightning.

Goals came from Harry Johnson, Travis Nicholson, Gregan Baker and a hat-trick from Bailey Coates.
