Danny Ings and Michael Keane have both been named in England Under 21s head coach Gareth Southgate’s long list of 27 for this summer’s European Championship Finals.
The pair, and former Clarets loan man Nathaniel Chalobah, are in line to figure prominently for the Three Lions in the Czech Republic next month.
Southgate’s squad will be cut to 23 before meeting up for preparations on June 2nd at St. George’s Park, returning for a second week on Monday, June 8th.
England are in Group B with Italy, Portugal – who they beat 3-1 at Turf Moor on November with an Ings brace – and Sweden.
They will take on Belarus at Barnsley on June 11th before flying out to Olomouc on Sunday, June 14th.
England’s first game is against Portugal in Uherske Hradiste on Thursday, June 18th, before they take on Sweden in Olomouc three days later.
The final group fixture against Italy is on Wednesday, June 24th, again in Olomouc.
