Lady Clarets reach cup final
The Under 16s fought their way through to the League Cup final by putting in their best performance of the season to date, despite Saturday’s wet and windy conditions.
The Clarets ran out 2-0 winners against a hard-working Blackpool side, with Georgia Payton bagging a brace.

Burnley will face either Formby JSC or Preston North End Blue in the final.
The Under 15s played a side from Euxton for the third successive week, this time travelling to face Euxton West in the league on Sunday.
The Clarets put in a focused performance right from the start of the game and it didn’t take long for them to hit the target with goals from Chloe Blackburn, Jess Greenwood and a stunning long-range strike from Amy Edmondson giving the Clarets a 3-0 lead at half-time.

A Kendal Kelly goal made it 6-0, before the Under 15s answer to Jamie Vardy, Maddie Blackburn, scored for the 10th game in a row to cap a fine 7-0 away win, which should see Burnley top of the league at Christmas.
