In conjunction with the Football League Trust, Burnley Football Club’s Programme for Education, Sport and Society is launching the Futsal and Education programme.
The two-year scholarship based at Turf Moor offers students a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in sports studies combined with training and coaching in the sport of Futsal - the only form of indoor football approved by FIFA, UEFA and the FA.

The FA is keen to develop the game further and students pursuing the scholarship at Turf Moor will have the opportunity to train in Futsal for up to eight hours a week with Burnley FC coaches under the direction of the Football League Trust.
And training will be supplemented with regular fortnightly fixtures against other teams representing professional clubs in the Football League Trust Futsal League.
The Futsal and Education Programme is being launched in September and is open to 16-19 year-olds.
