A LAST-minute goal meant the Blues just lost out on a point in a closely-fought encounter against Chadderton at Victoria Park.

Nelson twice came behind from behind and looked all set to claim the draw until Matthew Chadwick grabbed his second and Chadderton’s third to give the away side all three points.

James Curley had opened the scoring in the first minute for the visitors before Jason Powrie brought Nelson level on the half-hour.

Chadwick scored shortly after though to ensure Chadderton went in with a lead at half-time.

Jerrome Matthews levelled matters with 16 minutes to go, but it was Chadwick who had the final say.

The Admirals now face a trip to AFC Darwen tomorrow hoping to pick up their second win of the season.
