Park High School have completed a remarkable clean sheet of the Pendle Schools’ Football League titles, winning all five age groups.

Four of the five teams finished the season undefeated, and though Year 7 were the only team to suffer a defeat, they won their three other fixtures to pip West Craven - who won two and drew two - to the title by a point.

Pendle Vale finished third with seven points, while Marsden Heights and Fisher-More both failed to win a game.

At Year 8 level, Park won all four games to top the table from Fisher-More, who won two of their outings.

Park also had a 100% record at Year 9 level, to finish ahead of West Craven, who won two and lost two of their games.

In Year 10, it was four wins from four for Park, who beat Fisher-More into runner-up position.

Year 11 completed the full house for Park in impressive fashion.

They won all five games, with a +39 goal difference, to take the title by five points from Fisher-More.

Park’s Year 8 girls are also celebrating an incredible achievement of their own.

The team have won the annual Pendle netball tournament, which means that they have won all competitions that they have entered in both years since the team came together.

The tournament was held at Pendle Vale, and five teams entered, but Park emerged victorious for the second-successive year.

They have now won both the league and the tournament for two consecutive seasons.

The girls have shown great commitment and enthusiasm throughout the netball season, with impressive teamwork and co-ordinated plays playing a big role in their success.
