Pendle Forest’s Football Academy moves indoors from tomorrow through the winter months.

Sessions will be held at Fisher-More Catholic Humanities College, Gibfield Road, Colne at the following times: 9-15-10 a.m. - Reception Children; 10-11 a.m. - Year 1 Children.

Please bring trainers and a drink.

The regular qualified coaches will be in attendance.

A TIGHT Pendle Forest derby was settled by a goal from Lewis Whitlow.

Man of the match for the Pythons was Brandon Howley, and for the Cobras, Isaac Routh.

Pendle Forest Cobras recorded another away win in the Warburtons League at Ighten Leigh.

Goals came from Alfie Percival (2), Finn Buck and Ethan Connor, with keepers Stan Dickinson, who claimed the man of the match award, and Kyle Worrall recording clean sheets in the first and second half.

Derby day for Forest turned into a great game.

Chances for both sides produced two own goals and a great strike from Zac Fraser for the Vipers.

The Vipers battled hard both in defence and midfield creating many chances.

Man of the match was Jack Spence.

Goals from Ethan Connor, Luke Stowe and man of the match Alfie Percival saw Forest to victory in a very good game against their near neighbours in the North Valley League.

There were plenty of excellent performances, and some great flowing football for the supporters to enjoy.
