Barnoldswick Town endured a week to forget as they suffered two defeats, conceding 11 goals along the way.
Town went down 7-0 at Maine Road on Saturday, having conceded three goals in the first 12 minutes.
Saul Henderson scored the first of his three first half goals after three minutes, after keeper Jake Chadwick’s mis-placed pass.
Henderson scored again two minutes later, before Neil Chappell notched the third as he strolled into the area and converted a cross.
The half ended with Henderson completing his hat-trick, easily outpacing Kevin Richardson from just inside the Town half to score.
Town responded well at the start of the second half, creating a number of chances, but midway through the half, sloppy defending allowed Thomas Bentham to make it 5-0.
Maine Road then scored two goals in as many minutes, Jack Langford and Daniel Doherty taking advantage of more disappointing defending.
And on Tuesday night, Paul Fildes’ lost 4-0 at Squires Gate.
Hollindrake hit the post with a fierce shot early on, but after that it was all Squires Gate - after 20 minutes, new keeper Daniel Thorpe’s pass fell short of Bill Williams, and Jack Sowerby slipped home the opener.
Gate increased their lead a minute before half-time from a corner, Daniel Penswick lifting the ball into the roof of the net from four yards out.
A third was conceded two minutes into the second half, as another corner found an unmarked Sowerby at the far post.
Hollindrake again hit the post, but Gate added a fourth in the 80th minute, Sowerby’s long range shot skipping past Thorpe to complete his hat-trick.
On Saturday, Town host Runcorn Town, before a trip to AFC Blackpool on Tuesday.
