Trawden hit seven in win

In a one sided match, Celtic ran out comfortable 7-1 winners against Embsay on Saturday.

Jake Fleming opened the scoring in teh third minute before Ben Gorman extended the lead on the quarter hour mark, Callum Whitfield maaking it three after half an hour.

Gorman completed his a hat-trick and man of the match Thomas Swindells adding two further goals in the second half.

Tomorrow, Celtic entertain Earby Town F.C. in the 1st Round of the Northern Plant Hire Trophy. The game kicks off at 1-30pm at Trawden Recreation Ground.

The Reserve team, also set to play at home tomorrow, have had to shift their fixture against Cross Hills Reserves to Holt House Playing fields – kick-off is 2pm.

Trawden Celtic U15 came away with all three 3 points when hey played Thackley Lightning thanks to goals from Bailey Coates (2), Joe Lonsdale (2),Harry Johnson, Theo Rowan and Dominic Young.
