Striker Sam Vokes feels Burnley could upset the odds at Arsenal tomorrow, if they can produce their current form.
The Clarets have scored 22 goals in eight games, hitting four or more three times in that run.
Vokes himself has netted twice in the last three games, taking his tally to six for the season, and he looked ahead to facing the FA Cup holders: “It’s not a distraction, it’s a game everyone’s looking forward to, to go down there in the FA Cup, and hopefully we can put on a good performance.
“There’s no reason why we can’t get a result, we’re on a good run of form, scoring goals, and we’ll take confidence from that.
“I missed out last year through injury, so it will be nice to go down there and play at such a great stadium.”
Burnley go down there as the Championship’s top-scorers, and Vokes added: “Goal difference could be massive, so it’s been fantastic recently to score as many as we have, and they are coming from all over the pitch as well.
“We have some big games coming up, so we take a lot of confidence from our form.”
The Clarets beat promotion rivals Derby County 4-1 on Monday after a superb second half display, and Vokes said: “I think we felt at half-time we had more to give, we weren’t quite at it first half, but came in at 1-1, and it was down to us to bounce back in the second half, and we did that with a strong performance.
“They are a strong team who showed what they are about, but, level pegging, it was a chance for us to react, and we did.
“We weren’t quite at it but we were still in the game, and in the second half we got the three goals to win the game.”
Vokes and Andre Gray both scoredfrom the spot, and the Wales striker explained the pair’s agreement: “I’d like to keep our arrangement a secret, but I don’t think it is anymore!
“We just alternate, both of us got one on the night, within three minutes, which was great.”
