Off to a Tea!

THE Mytton Fold Hotel and Golf Complex is joining forces with the Rotary Club of Clitheroe to organise a "Tee off with Tea" event as part of Taste Lancashire's Picnic Month.

Money raised from the event, which is taking place at Mytton Fold Hotel will go to the Marie Curie Nurses and National Children's Home charities.

The round of golf will start with coffee and bacon sandwiches. This will be followed by 18 holes of golf with local produce served from picnic baskets at alternate holes.

The event will finish with dinner and cabaret from 8 p.m.

Tee times will be in blocks of 11 a.m. and noon, noon and 1 p.m. and 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Teams will consist of four players in a stableford competition and there will be spot prizes are available on various holes.

The event takes place on Wednesday, August 13th, costs 180 per team and more details are available from Barbara Byran (01254 240662).
