Lamb A move into third place after a 3-2 home win over Nelson Poultry A, while Paul Averill had a break of 75 for St Andrew’s, who moved up the table with a 4-1 home win over Dressers E.
Up at the Gravel, Phil Harrison had a break of 68 for Poultry B in their 4-1 defeat over Lamb B, for whom Shaun Greenall was their only winner with a break of 73, and Paradise A came away from Liberal A with a 3-2 win.
In the Second Division, Nelson Golf Club moved into joint first place with a 4-1 away win over Shorthomers B, while Old Band B are unchanged at the top with a 3-2 home win over Carters A, for whom Glynn Skelton had a run of 35.
Paradise B moved up the table slightly after a 3-2 home win over St Andrew’s B, and Matt Lawson had a 34 clearance for White Lea Head as they saw off David Street with a 4-1 away win.
George Blenkinsop had a break of 47 for Molly Rigby’s B, who ended up 4-1 home winners over Byerden House, while Dressers D pulled off a 4-1 home win over bottom placed Liberal C.
In the Third Division, Old Band C are four points clear at the top after a 3-2 away win over Molly Rigby’s A, and are followed by second placed Burnley Miners, who were beaten at home 3-2 by an in-form Dressers B outfit.
Shorthomers C were on fire down at Church Street as they got the better of Lamb D with a 4-1 win, and Carters D were on form as they came away from Foulridge with a 4-1 win.
Elsewhere, David Street B pulled off a 4-1 home win over Lamb C, and Nelson Poultry D ended up 3-2 winners away to Shorthomers D.
