Trawden Athletic Club’s Autumn Howard won the Lancaster Half Marathon in a new personal best on Sunday.
Autumn broke the one hour thirty mark with 1:29:14 to be the first female over the line.
Autumn, 28, said: “I have worked really hard for the last two months and, thankfully, it has paid off. When I crossed the line and saw the time it was an amazing feeling.”
As a result of her time, Autumn has earned a Championship entry into next year’s London Marathon and will start the race directly behind the elite men.
