Burnley Miners remain at the top of the Nelson and District Snooker League Division One following a 3-2 home win over second placed St Andrews.

Alexandra was inactive this week but stay in joint second place while Paradise A bounced back to winning ways with a 4-1 away win over Lamb B.

Elsewhere Poultry B gained a 4-1 away win over Old Band B while Worsthorne pulled off a 3-2 home win over Briercliffe and Lamb A came away from Molly Rigby’s with a 3-2 win.

In Division Two, Padiham A remain at the top with a 3-2 home win over Carters, but David St A are closing the gap in joint second place after a 4-1 away win over Tacklers B.

St Andrews B also share second place after a 3-2 home win over Tacklers B, while Molly Rigby’s A left the Gravel with a 3-2 win over Poultry D.

Paradise B are back in the groove with a 4-1 home win over Liberal B, whose only winner was Chalkie White over Peter Lloyd.

Elsewhere there was 3-2 away wins for Colne Dressers A over Nelson Dressers E and Nelson Dressers D over Shorthomers B.
