Colne swimmer competes in Montreal

Colne’s Philip Croxall gave a good account of himself at the 15th FINA World Masters Championships in Montréal.

Philip, competing in the 45 to 49 years age group, 42nd of 93 in the 100m Breaststroke in a season’s best time of 1:22:37.

In the 200m Individual Medley he was 34th out of 80 in a time of 2:39:69 - his best for over three years.

In the 200m Breaststroke he finished 25th of 58 in 3:00:07, another season’s best, and in the the 400m Freestyle he was 20th of 49 in 4:55:79, almost equalling his personal best set over four years ago.
