Paul Tems had a hole in one on the Par 3 seventh hole at Colne Golf Club last week during a friendly round with David Harker and Alan Southworth.
It was Paul’s second hole in one, after his first on the same hole several years ago.
Meanwhile, the 36-hole Foulds Cup has been contested at Colne over the last couple of weekends.
Round one was won by Andrew Kellett’s 75-9-66 by two shots from Sam Halstead (78-10-68), with Ryan Proctor (79-10-69) in third.
John Laycock’s 86-19-67 won round two from Proctor (78-10-68) and Steve Parker (80-12-68), and that meant an overall win for Proctor with a nett 137.
Second was Kellett (66+72 =138), with Laycock third (71+67 =138).
• Barrowford golfer Stephen Emery, 53, scored a hole-in-one during a recent club competition, and was rewarded with a limited-edition BOSS watch as recognition for the achievement. Stephen scored his ace on the 168-yard, par-three 11th at Nelson.
