The club were just edged out for the award by Camberley and Farnborough, but were thrilled to be nominated, and thoroughly enjoyed their evening – rubbing shoulders with Great Britain’s Rio Olympic champions – there to receive an Outstanding Achievement award – and making the most of the hospitality!

A total of 500 people attended the event at Athena in Leicester, and Forest had two tables, accompanied by Olympians Nicola White and Sophie Bray.

Six gold medal winners in total were present, alongside Team GB coach Danny Kerry and male GB players including Barry Middleton.
