Successful grading for Pendle Karate club

Young members of Pendle Karate Club, based at Earby Community Centre, gained their red belt at a recent grading evening under chief instructor Khurshid Ismail with the grading carried out by Sensei Ian Spence.

Young members of Pendle Karate Academy were successful in their first grading session at Earby Community Centre.

All 21 taking part gained their Red Belt. Instructor, Khurshid Ismail, a black belt 3rd Dan said: “All the students did very well. They have worked hard and had great results.”

The Karate Academy meets at Earby every Friday and Sunday, and also have sessions in Nelson and at West Craven Sports Centre.

Those who passed were: Annabel Foster, Melisa Day, Viktorija Sitova, Naomi Bond, Blazej Klosek, Arlo Robinson, Morgan Ainsworth, Max Villiers, Ethan Wilson, Maisie Harrison, Sinead Chenier, Tilli Harrison, Sophie Harper, Adam Hussain, Leon Thompson, Raham Hussain, Kieran Daly, Leah Dickinson, Callum Clark, Jakub Perczak and Jakob Broda.
