The sky's the limit for Burnley's first trampoline centre
Pegasus Drop Zone in Spring Garden Mill, Craven Street, is the creation of local man Daniel Veitch, who also has a very fitting sideline, serving as a reservist in the Parachute Regiment.
But the high-flying soldier and businessman was keen to point out when the Burnley Express visited that the new trampoline centre would offer something different for all ages and abilities.

Hide AdDaniel said: “I’m a dad of four so my motivation in opening this centre was to give children in Burnley and beyond an alternative fun activity to enjoy.
“We have more than 40 trampolines here, catering for all abilities and ages. There is a dedicated toddler zone with a small foam pit, slide and soft play element.
“But there is also something for the more advanced – we have a split level jump tower which has a take-off platform into an airbag. There is a roll-over platform for parkour free-runners too.”
Former Ivy Bank High School pupil Daniel, who was also a retained fire-fighter in Padiham, said he hoped the recent Olympic Games where Great Britain athlete Bryony Page won silver in trampolining would prove an inspiration for young people in Burnley to take up the sport.

Hide AdHe also explained how the activity was one of the best cardio workouts around and after a short time jumping around like an idiot, I can’t disagree.
The centre, which opened last month, should also boost the local economy with around 30 jobs created for mainly young people.
Daniel added: “Pegasus the winged horse is the mascot of the Paras so I thought it would be an ideal name for the centre.”
