Graham Wilson was crowned the new British champion after claiming gold at the British Open No-Gi Championships.

The Pendle Brazilian Jiu Jitsu specialist displayed his artistry in the 90kg category at the event in Birmingham.

Wilson was one of four competitors to return to the Pendle Martial Arts Academy with a medal. Steven Stokes took silver in the 75kg division, Did Carlisle emulated that success in the 80kg bracket while Danny Sutcliffe scooped bronze in the 85kg bracket.

“The club is going from strength to strength and this latest win means that we now have three British champions training at the club,” said coach John Stokes.”
