Golden Cue update

Two former semi-finalists have fallen at the first hurdle in this year’s Moorhouse’s Golden Cue.

J. Southern and Niki Murtaugh were dumped out by Simon Lawless and Matt Kaley respectively while the well fancied pair from Padiham, Sean Greenall and Simon Blackwell were beaten by Dave Howe and Peter Doyle.

Jack Sanderson won the battle of Lowerhouse beating Howard Murtaugh 2-0 while Ady Harris, of Ighten Leigh provided the big shock of the round beating Tony Arnott 2-1 on the small table up at Ighten Leigh,
