Biggest line-up yet for Bands on the Square
Bands on the Square begins tomorrow and ends months of anticipation and excitement for organisers, performers and music lovers alike.
Last year, 28 bands performed across the three days bringing in thousands of gig-goers from far and wide.

Hide AdNow for 2016, 32 are booked to play as this year promises to be the biggest festival yet.
Headlining tomorrow will be Decoys, Barry Garlow and the Good for Nothing’s have the top slot on Sunday and Bashphelt have the honour of bringing the festival to a close on Monday.
Saturday’s performers include Fiery Biscuits, December’s Twin, Rewired, Hot Dog Hobos, J Bear and the Giants while Critical Reaction, Station Yard, Breaking Waves and Guido all make their festival debuts.
On Sunday, festival regulars Brassneck are included in the 32, and also playing will be Inner Frenzy, Record Street, Dark House, Dead End Monday, Little Victories, Cover Up, The Dixon Munro Duo and White Boy.

Hide AdSplinter, Overload, Madame Red, Fandjango and The Switch are in Monday’s line-up as well as students from the Pendle Music Academy.
Bands on the Square also provides some of the area’s younger musical talent with a chance to shine, and some of these including Ellie and Kelsie, Brooke Phipps, Amy Colvin and Nina Salorian return to the festival as familiar faces while other such as The Switch and Erase and Rewind will be new to the festival audience.
Music starts tomorrow and Sunday at 11-30am and on Monday it starts at the earlier time of 11am.
All the entertainment is packed into the town square in Barnoldswick and the entire event is free and suitable for all the family.
