Singing stars from three Colne primary schools have been spreading Christmas joy in Colne.
The pupils from Lord Street Primary School, Colne Primet Primary School and Trawden Forest Primary School have been entertaining passers-by with an array of carols outside Colne Market Hall.
In previous years, only one school has taken part in the performances, but with the help of volunteers, including Matthew Eyre, Pendle Council’s market manager Ian Varley has managed to attract three.
He said: “The local schoolchildren are helping to create a wonderful, Christmassy atmosphere.
“And it’s nice to see the market bustling with parents, coming along to support their children. “Not only does it help to get people in the Christmas spirit, but it showcases the market to people who may not necessarily know what is has to offer.”
