It was heartbreak for Padiham singer Andrew Derbyshire as he missed out on a place in the Britain’s Got Talent final.
The 31-year-old star did not secure enough public votes to see him get into the last round of the hit ITV contest.
He had performed Beyonce’s “Listen” on the live semi-final show – but he got mixed reception from judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden.
His hopes of winning the competition and performing for the Queen at the Royal Variety Show faded as hosts Ant and Dec announced the acts that made it into the final three.
Sadly Andrew missed out as swing band Jack Pack and dance couple Paddy and Nico won the public vote to get the chance to perform in the hotly-anticipated Britain’s Got Talent final.
