BARROWFORD Show attracted loads of people on Sunday despite some bad weather. It started out dry, there was then heavy rain around lunchtime but it then went sunny in the afternoon.
There were some entertaining events which attracted people. There had been worries that, if few people arrived, it would mean the show would not take place next year. But the organisers were happy with the number of people who did turn up.
There were lots of business stalls, organisations and plenty of vintage cars to see. Competitions included horticulture, children’s pets, children’s skills and other items. There was also plenty of entertainment, including bands, a school choir, highly active dogs, owls and guys on a circling sky flyer.
So hopefully, it will be back in action next summer - and with luck it will be brighter weather!
