Barrowford’s secret surrealist artist, Geoff Brindle, is to exhibit his best work at Nelson’s best-kept secret – the ACE Centre.

Trained at Ruskin School of Fine Art at Oxford and locally teaching art for many years, Geoff has continuously kept up to date with his passion for art, creating new works on a regular basis.

Geoff said: “My current work is unique, complex and full of symbolism. The images should not be taken literally, they form part of a complex equation of ideas.

“This is creativity in its purest essence, combined with the subtle modulations of artistic composition. The paintings are often challenging and disturbing, displaying images and situations.”

So take a step in to the wonderful, surreal world of Geoff Brindle at Nelson’s ACE Centre.

The exhibition runs until August 21st, and the centre is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
