Kelbrook Primary School’s Christmas Fair was popular with parents and children alike.

The school raised more than £1,200 through a variety of festive stalls and activities including a cake stall, tombola, face painting and a Santa’s Grotto with Father Christmas.

If that wasn’t enough, there was a raffle, cake decorating and a pie and pea supper.

Andy Drummond-Burnett, Chairman of Governors at the school, said: “It was extremely successful, I think it was much busier than last year.

“This was the second year we’ve held it at the school and it does prove popular. It was very well supported by parents and grandparents.

“I think we must have had between 100 and 150 through the door. “Some of the money will go towards school trips and some to other investments.”
