This breezy production, starring Penelope Hatfield and Josh Hindle, tells of the labour trouble that brews in a pyjama factory where workers’ demands for a seven-and-a-half cent pay rise are being ignored.

Drama unfolds when Babe, the grievance committee head and Sid, the new factory superintendent, fall head over heels in love, a romance blossoming amid the workplace conflict.

The show sizzles with all the favourite classic hits from the original Broadway presentation: audiences are sure to find themselves singing along to the likes of Hey There, Once a Year Day, Steam Heat and the unforgettable Hernando’s Hideaway.

The show will be staged at Pendle Hippodrome Theatre, New Market Street, Colne, from Tuesday, March 21st to Saturday, March 25th, starting at 7-30pm nightly. There will also be a matinee performance on the Saturday at 2pm.
