Cases of Covid-19 are continuing to fall across Pendle with the borough recording zero virus-related deaths in five weeks.

Pendle Council's latest figures show the infection rate fell for a fifth week in a row.

Once again, the highest number of cases were recorded in the 30 to 39 age group.

A council spokesman said: "This week’s statistics show that things are continuing to move in the right direction.

"Pendle Council continues to urge people to stay safe, follow the rules and advice and get vaccinated when they can.
