Plan for 148 new homes in Barnoldswick back on table

An outline application for up 148 homes in Barnoldswick has been resubmitted.

Applicant The Sutton Family Pension Trust has applied for access only at this stage but plans to build 101 three bedroom properties and 47 two bedroom properties on the former Barnsay Shed site and the adjacent field off Long Ing Lane.

Proposed houses will be two, two-and-a-half and three storey in height with spaces for 222 cars and 296 bicycles.

The plan will go in front of Pendle Council’s West Craven Committee with a target date of the meeting on March 29th.
