All went according to schedule at the recent Brierfield Model Railway Exhibition, with all attractions running on time and all proceedings going ahead on track.
Held at St Luke’s Church Hall on April 9th and 10th, the exhibition proved to be a great success, with all who came along to see the wide range of layouts enjoying it thoroughly.
Featuring model exhibitions from Pendle Forest Model Railway Society and products from Hornby Dublo, colourful liveries on models from every era were proudly on show.
“'A good exhibition with an interesting collection of models' was the general verdict on the exhibition," said Pendle Forest Model Railway's honourary secretary and Exhibition Organiser, David Carter. "Quite a few people claimed that - having seen what was on show and speaking to exhibitors - they were motivated to return home and make a start on models of their own.
"It was great pleasure to work with a friendly team to put on a show that was so well received by the public. Our model railway hobby continues to create interest amongst young and old alike and we are now making plans to hold another exhibition around the same time next year."
