£100,000 money laundering charge: man in court
A 32-year-old man has appeared before Burnley magistrates, accused of a near £100,000 money laundering allegation.
Jonathan Michael O’Brien, of Dall Street, is charged with concealing/disguising/converting/transferring/removing criminal property – £99,574.33 – in the town, on or between last October 19th and October 27th.
The defendant did not indicate a plea. O’Brien was bailed until at crown court hearing on May 9th.
