A major planning application for up to 148 homes in Barnoldswick has been withdrawn.
Applicant The Sutton Family Pension Trust withdrew the plans in December at the former Barnsay Shed site and the adjacent field off Long Ing Lane.
Chairman of Pendle Council’s West Craven Committee, Coun. David Whipp said: “I understand that it was withdrawn due to the applicants wanting to do more work on noise assessment.
“Silentnight commented on the application that they thought more work needed to be done to address this, and that the bed factory was busiest in January.
“I’m expecting that the application will be re-submitted in due course.”
