Barrowford school reunion is planned

A reunion is being organised in Barrowford for St Thomas Church of England Primary School students and staff.

Valerie Seifert (nee Taylor) was a Fulbright Teacher Exchange teacher in 1989-90 there for one year.

“It was truly memorable and thanks to Facebook I have been in touch with many of my students,” said Valerie.

“One, Matthew Blackburn, owns and operates a locksmith business and is organising a reunion ‘do’ on August 20th.

“I will be staying in Colne from August 19th-22th and would love to get back in touch with people from that era.”
