A planning application for nine new homes in Blacko has been submitted to Pendle Council.

Applicant Daniel Hall has applied for outline consent to demolish the 19th Century Hollin Hall Farm at 517 Gisburn Road, to create a new access to the proposed development.

The layout shows eight detached residential homes are planned, two of which are to have three bedrooms, with the other six four or more.

A two bedroom holiday cottage is also planned on the site and material from the existing house is to be reused in constructing the houses.

According to the application form, at least 28 spaces for cars will be on the site in total. An annex and garage to the side of the house is to be retained and extended for an affordable home in a separate planning application according to documents.
