Saturday saw a good turnout of hungry people in Kelbrook keen to enjoy a breakfast or brunch, meet up with friends and catch up with gossip.

Colne and West Craven Cancer Research UK fund-raisers and the Kelbrook Ladies’ Guild were hosting the annual Big Breakfast event.

Chairman of the Ladies’ Guild, Linda McSween said: “Once again we have had a very successful Big Breakfast.

“A big thank you to all the people who came and supported us. We have raised £520 which we have donated to Colne and West Craven fund-raisers for Cancer Research UK. I would also like to thank all the businesses who have so generously donated food. Jamie Pitt, Steven Hirst, Liddell’s bakery, Earby Co-op and Lidl, Colne. This has been a great start to our year!”
