Thirty jobs have been created as a popular retailer prepares to come to Colne.
B&M will open its doors on the former Boundary Mill site, in Corporation Street on April 18th, from 9am.
The ribbon cutting will be undertaken by Pendleside Hospice representatives, and the charity will receive £250 worth of vouchers as a token of thanks.
Joanne Coates, of Pendleside Hospice, said: “We are very grateful and delighted to be selected for opening the new B&M store.
“Our volunteers will be in the store on Saturday bag packing and also promoting this year’s Pendleside car raffle. “Please come down and welcome B&M to Colne and be part of their special day.”
And B&M store manager Laura Brookes added: “B&M is committed to recruiting from the local area and I am delighted we’ve found a great team from in and around Colne. We’re really proud to be creating 30 jobs across the town this year and playing our part in the local community.”
